off of the road

Here are some of the photos from our trip to Naga last November.
Since we don't have a car we hop into a public utility van.
We were supposed to be around 6 or 7.
All are my sister's friends, co-nurses.
But only two came with us. Rachel and Yon.
One left early. So final count - it's three.

It's Rachel's birthday and to celebrate my sister bought
a beer and we were secretly drinking inside the van.
Happily singing Happy Birthday.
We went first to CWC, wakeboarding mecca in Cam Sur.
The weather is freakin' hot. My foundation is melting.
Plus side, too many gorgeous people.

Then went to the mall. I'm not very enthusiastic about it.
And I kept telling myself to be understanding.
You see where I grew up big malls and fancy restos and
even popular fast food chains are not accessible.
Because there are only a very select few.
They just opened over a year ago.
And it's a 2 hour drive from my hometown Legazpi.
So we feast our eyes of what Naga has to offer that our beloved Legazpi cannot.
For now.
